I moved to Duluth in the spring of 2007 and needed a hairstylist to do my color. I found Maria on the internet and saw all the fabulous up-dos she had created. So I knew right away she was talented and probably a great hairstylist also. After meeting her, I found she was not only a great hairstylist but a very professional, kind hearted person. Maria takes the time to listen to what you want and explain what products are best for your hair to keep it healthy.

In spring of 2008 I had Maria do my hair and make-up for my Bridal photo session. I have sholder length hair, but I wanted long, luxurious hair for my Bridal photos and wedding. Maria worked her magic and was able to achieve this look for me with the help of a wig. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. She was able to match my hair color with the wig perfectly. No one knew I had a wig on, for it looked very real and natural. Thanks to Maria my photos turned out great and I never looked so beautiful. Everyone wanted to know who did my hair and make-up. I go to Maria on regular basis to have my hair colored and eyebrows shaped, and I am always pleased with the outcome. I have gone to hairstylists in the past that had no passion for their work or consideration for their clients. Needless to say…they lost my business. Maria loves what she does and is always eager to learn new things to better her talent and provide her clients with unlimited service.

I asked Maria to do up-dos for me and my 2 girls for a very special occasion. Not only where the up-dos stunning,but Maria took the time to find out what we where wearing,but also took the time to find out who we where before she started.

I found out about Maria from a co-worker of mine who was a former client in a previous location. She said Maria specialized in fine hair and always did a great job on her hair. I, too, have very fine hair and because of that, wasn't quite sure how I should do my hair for my Nov 2007 wedding.

I made an appt with Maria for about a month before the wedding and drove out to Duluth to meet her. I was immediately impressed by her professionalism and confidence. We decided on an "Audrey Hepburn" look and Maria took the time to get it just right!

As Maria had predicted, the day of the wedding, she was able to do an even better job of capturing the look I was going for. Blondierocker08: Maria is not only an awesome stylist but a fun person to be around. I have modeled for her a couple times and i loved the creative work she can make up on the spot and of course the other hair-dos she puts a lot of research into; no matter what it is, she does an amazing job! But hey, Maria doesn't just do hair, but make-up and eyebrows too! She's a one stop shop :)
